Typography Examples

In the early days of Modular's existence we set type photomechanically using a phototypositor and later with computer driven Compugraphic phototypesetting machines. Then, with the advent of PostScript, we began using Macintosh computers and PostScript imagesetters. Occasionally -- through necessity or for special applications -- we have created our own fonts. These examples are from the early "desktop publishing revolution" days when font selections were basically limited to Helvetica and Times.

Unfortunately, none of our film based creations have survived.
